This is unacceptable. It’s no wonder traditional donors to the Republican National Committee are holding back their dollars. I would recommend that all Republicans hold back their contributions until Michael Steele is replaced as Chairman of the Republican Party.

You know, it’s one thing to micromanage on the federal level, but when the President of the United States decides to tell a governor of a state or commonwealth that they need to not run for re-election, I think that is a bit too far.
It’s one thing for a political party to tell an elected official that is a member of said party to step aside in the next election, but it’s highly inappropriate for President Barack Obama to do so. That would be like former President George W. Bush asking California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to step aside.

Chairman Michael Steele was in Charleston on Friday to raise money for the West Virginia Republican Party.

The legislation known as Cap and Trade will have a huge impact on everyday Americans. Cap and Trade is a tax increase on every American that uses electricty from coal-fired power plants. Over half of the electricity that heats our homes, lights our schools, and powers our businesses comes from coal.
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele sent out a fundraising e-mail and uses Cap and Trade as the main motivator for people to give so they can help Republicans stop the Obama energy tax increases.
